According to Pew Research, the typical American reads four books a year. Maybe you read a lot more. Maybe you read less. Either way, we invite you to join the library's Read the Year challenge to keep up your reading through all of 2019.
How to Take Part
- Create an account on our Beanstack online resource. (You can add multiple readers from one family to a single Beanstack account, or each family member can start their own account.)
- Enroll in the Read the Year program.
- Sign into Beanstack and share the name of the best book you read each month.
You'll earn an online badge for each monthly activity you complete, and a bonus badge for finishing the challenge if you earn all 12 monthly badges.

Every reader who adds their library card number to their Beanstack account has a chance to win a Greene County Public Library prize pack when they take part in the challenge. Each monthly Read the Year badge you earn by January 15, 2020, will give you another entry in the prize drawing.
