Some of them may look a little different from the images in this article, but all you need to do to make the same options appear is tap the menu icon: ☰.
Account
Just as on our previous website, you can access your library account by clicking the button in the top right corner of the page.
A menu will appear—choose “Log In / Register” to create or sign in to your online library account.
Once you’ve logged in, the other options in the same menu let you manage your account.
- See what you’ve borrowed or renew an item: “Checked Out”
- See the items you’ve requested: “On Hold”
- Pay your overdue fines online: “Fees”
- Control your account, including privacy options: “My Settings”
Browse
Want to know what’s new and popular in our collection? Click the “Browse” option on the left side of the menu near the top of the website.
Choose a Browse category to find books, audiobooks, ebooks, movies, music, and more on pages that are automatically updated as new items are added to the catalog.
Events
Interested in classes and programs coming up at the library? Look for the calendar icon in the menu near the top of every page.
Online Resources
Trying to find your favorite ebook service, online classes, streaming music, or research database? Click the “Online Resources” menu option to browse our digital collections by category.
If you already know exactly what you’re looking for, an A–Z list of all Online Resources is also available.
Services
Click the "Services" option in that menu at the top of the page.
You’ll find links to information on popular library offerings such as interlibrary loans, meeting rooms, and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
Search
And of course we can’t forget the search box! For the first time, you have options that allow you to search all areas of our site with the same tool.
These are only a few of the features available on our redesigned website. We know change can feel overwhelming, but we’ll be here with more help and tips on how to get the most out of your online library. Before you know it, you’ll be a library power user!
