Our Summer Reading program begins for all ages on June 1st, but Xenia Community Library is having a special Teen Summer Reading Kickoff on June 4th just for teens to join us for games, pizza, and an opportunity to hear about awesome teen books that you can read to get you started on your journey to winning prizes.
This summer we have started a Harry Potter Club that meets every other week to enjoy activities and games based on the books in the Harry Potter series. You do not have to be part of a group to be a part of the teen scene excitement here. Our library has other activities such as gaming, art, technology, and escape room programs that you can join us for as well.

Did you know that teens can volunteer here at Xenia Community Library? Each month our teen volunteers help with programs and do other volunteer projects with our library staff. Those teens wanting to be a library volunteers must fill out and turn in a volunteer form, available online or distributed at our library.
Our Youth Services Librarian Mary creates programs for teens all year round at Xenia Community Library. When asked what she likes most about working with our teens Mary responded, “Through interacting with teens I get to watch them develop their talents. It is exciting to watch them discover this expertise and imagine where it can take them.”
