Personalized Services for You!

Xenia Community Library’s staff gives tours to visiting classes all the time, but you don’t need to be with a class for us to show you around. Stop by or call us at (937) 352-4000 to schedule a tour and learn more about all the library has to offer. We have several features you won’t find at any other Greene County Public Library location, such as the Greene County Room and Spark Place. Come in and get a tour of these areas as well as the Youth and Adult Services departments to talk with staff and learn more about what we do and what each department specifically has to offer you and your family. The best part about having us tour you around the Xenia library is that you’re guaranteed to learn something new!

If you were given a tablet or smartphone over the holidays and want to learn more about how to download a digital audiobook or ebook, we’re here to help. Do you still have a laptop from the previous holiday season that was gifted to you but you have no idea how to get to the internet to set up an email account? Our library staff is here to work with you every step of the way. Call us and talk to a librarian about how to schedule a technology appointment. You can let us know when you’d like to schedule a time to work one-on-one with a librarian to teach you how to use some of our online resources such as OverDrive, Hoopla, and online classes.

If you’re a student and come to our library to check out materials for research papers or to have a place to study without the distractions of home, are you aware that we also offer exam proctoring? Some colleges and universities provide exam proctoring that you may be paying for, but at our library exam proctoring is free! You can request an appointment from our website or give us a call and a librarian can schedule a day and time that is convenient for you. Our library has study rooms where you can take your exam while you’re being proctored, and computers if you’re required to take your exam online.

Xenia Community Library also offers free walk-in tax assistance through the help of our community partners from the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This service will begin towards the end of this month and goes through April 15th. Find more details about this service on our online calendar.
