In addition, Jay and Maggie King will be presenting a program titled Hiking the Appalachian Trail on Saturday, May 4, from 1 – 2:30 p.m. at our library to talk about their 2018 thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail.

The Kings will discuss how they prepared for their hike, environmental concerns, and hiking your hike. There will be a photo slideshow and examples of gear used during their travels. For more in-depth information, there will be Q & A time and opportunities for a private conversation at the end.
