Stuck at the house? Make a Home! This holiday season, we’re hosting the MAKE A HOUSE AT HOME gingerbread contest.
STARTING TODAY, we invite you to make your own gingerbread house or creation. There’s no limits or restrictions other than the reaches of your imagination! Entries will be divided into three categories: Child (ages 12 & under), Family (mixed age) and Teen/Adult (ages 12 & up).
Entry is as easy as TAKING A PICTURE OF YOURSELF AND YOUR CREATION AND POSTING IT TO YOUR HOME LIBRARY FACEBOOK PAGE, making sure to note the category you’re entering under.
Submissions will be collected through DECEMBER 17 and will be compiled for people across Greene County to vote for their favorites in each category on DECEMBER 18. Share with your friends and family for them to see your creation – and also get them to vote for you! We will announce the winners on DECEMBER 22.
Winners will have their creations immortalized with a plaque hung at their local library throughout January and then awarded to them at the month's end.
