Halloween Town

Every community has its own core values. In Fairborn, we embrace Halloween every year!

At Fairborn Community Library we start them young: Boo to You! Story Times for the little ones, pumpkin painting for kids, and a Halloween Spooktacular event including costumes, games, crafts, and a trip through our amazing haunted forest!

Teens typically show up in fantastic array for the annual HallowScream Party.

And adults will have the chance to meet an author and learn about Ghosthunting in Ohio. They’ll also create Altered Books for Spells & Potions. Of course, our Mystery Book Discussion group will delve into a murder story at their October meeting, too.

You might see staff at the circulation and information desks sporting creative costumes this month. Sometimes we have a mermaid shelving books. One year everyone came to work dressed as characters from the game Clue.

We do keep it safe and friendly in our location, so don’t wear a mask into the building. But we invite you to join us for plenty of Halloween fun.

For a complete list of all our October events in the Fairborn library (65 various events are coming up this month), be sure to check our online calendar, or pick up a schedule next time you visit.
