This winter we are excited to offer both a Children’s Winter Reading Challenge and a Winter Reading Challenge for Adults.
Our Children’s Winter Reading Challenge for ages 2–12 is called Yeti or Not! It starts on February 1 and goes until March 16. To participate, drop by the Beavercreek library and pick up a game sheet at the Youth Services desk. Keep track of your reading for six weeks. When you have read for 16 hours, bring your completed game sheet in for a small prize, an entry in our Abominable Prize Drawing, and an invite to our Yeti Party. The Yeti or Not Winter Reading Bash will be on Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. in our large meeting room at Beavercreek Community Library. Bring your abominable invitation and we’ll have Yeti treats, play Yeti games, and give out our Yeti raffle prizes.
Our Cozy Winter Reading Challenge for Adults (for ages 18 and up) starts on January 14 and goes until March 8. To participate, visit the Beavercreek library and pick up your entry form at the information desk. When you have read five books from different categories listed on the entry form, bring your completed form in for a small prize and an entry in our Grand Prize Drawing.
We can’t wait to see you at your Beavercreek Community Library. Happy reading!
