Knit Your Bit - National WW2 Museum
This Month's Organization:
Since its launch in 2006, Knit Your Bit has reached more than 10,000 knitters and crocheters in all 50 states. Through their efforts, the Museum has distributed more than 50,000 scarves to veterans’ centers, hospitals, and service organizations across the country.
Instructions:
Instructions can be found on the National WW2 Museum's website.
- Hand knit or crochets a scarf measuring roughly 6” x 60”. Some patterns may call for variations on measurements. Please no key-hole or potato chip scarves.
- Use yarn that is machine washable and dryable in gender neutral or patriotic colors. Knit Your Bit does not accept fun fur or eyelash yarn.
- Sew in all loose ends.

Deadline and Drop-off Instructions:
Drop-off your finished project off by November 30, 2020, during regular hours at any Greene County Public Library location. To ensure that your item remains clean during transit, please enclose it in a plastic zipper bag.
