Comfort Bears
This Month's Organization:
Hospice of the Miami Valley provides medical care to help people facing a life-limiting illness enjoy the best possible quality of life. The organization also provides support for patients’ families and caregivers.
Instructions
Create a stuffed comfort bear for a hospice patient. You can use any pattern and method you'd like to create your soft and cuddly animal.
Project Type:
Crochet, knitting, or sewing.
Supplies You'll Need:
Supplies used will vary based on your chosen pattern, but using bright colors of yarn or fabric is encouraged.
Deadline:
Drop your finished project off by May 31, 2020, during regular hours at any Greene County Public Library location. (Deadline extended due to the library's temporary closure.)
To protect your comfort bear during delivery, please enclose it in a clean plastic bag.
