This Month's Organization:

At Project Linus, a non-profit organization, we provide homemade blankets to children in need. Our blankets are lovingly made by adults and children from all walks of life and many different sources.

Instructions can be found on the Project Linus' website.

It is Project Linus' policy to accept blankets of all sizes, depending on local chapter needs. All blanket styles are welcome, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted or knitted afghans, and receiving blankets in child-friendly colors. Always remember that blankets must be homemade, washable, free of pins, and come from smoke-free environments due to allergy reasons.

Deadline and Drop-off Instructions:

February 27, 2021, during regular hours at any Greene County Public Library location. To ensure that your item remains clean during transit, please enclose it in a plastic zipper bag.

Project Linus does have a drop off site in Greene County (JOANN Fabric in the Beavercreek Towne Center), during this month, you may drop your blanket off at the library and we will transport your blanket to the drop site.
