Hair Loss Caps
This Month's Organization:
Knots of Love donates hand-knit or crocheted caps to people who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy, burns, brain surgery, alopecia, or head trauma. These caps can provide warmth, comfort, and self-esteem.
Instructions
Create a cap using your choice of pattern available on the Knots of Love website. Follow the organization's head size chart to make a small, medium, or large cap.
You must use yarn from Knots of Love's approved yarn list, opens a new window. Loomed caps aren't accepted.
Project Type:
Crochet or knitting.
Supplies You'll Need:
- Yarn from approved list, opens a new window
- Crochet hook or knitting needles
Deadline:
Drop your finished project off by May 31, 2020, during regular hours at any Greene County Public Library location. (Deadline extended due to the library's temporary closure.)
To protect your donated cap during delivery, please place it in a clean plastic zipper bag.
