Election Day is November 6. You may be thinking, "but voting is for adults." It's true that you have to be 18 to vote, but you can register to vote now if you are going to be 18 by Election Day. In fact, you have to register by October 9 if you want to vote in this year's elections.
For more information about voting and how to register, visit the Greene County Board of Elections website. You can also register to vote at any Greene County Public Library location!
Even if you're not going to be 18 by Election Day, it's never too early to get informed. For more information about voting and teen civic involvement, check out Every Vote Matters by Thomas A. Jacobs.
