May is Older Americans Month! Celebrate the older adults in your life and community at the library through meaningful programing, Real Roots Radio, and a Beanstack Challenge!
Older Americans Reading Challenge
Log your reading & win this May on Beanstack! This month's challenge invites you to celebrate the older Americans in your life by listening to their stories or reading stories based on, authored by, or centered around older Americans. Sign up on the Beanstack app or at Greene.Beanstack.org today!
Real Roots Radio
This month Real Roots Radio is celebrating the Older Americans who shaped country music! Tune in everyday weekday from 10am to noon for the Daniel Mullins Midday Music Spectacular to listen to the spotlighted artists. Then, each Wednesday in May, Daniel is joined by GCPL's Adult Services Coordinator Tamar Kreke to discuss how the library celebrates and bolsters the Older Americans in our community and how you can too - don't miss it!
