New Ways to Find That Next Great Read

We are always looking for new ways to serve the community. New for 2020, we incorporated a staff picks display where we once had our Public Computer (PC) Reservation Station.

The idea is simple. Each book on this display is “librarian approved,” which means one of the staff here at Winters-Bellbrook Community Library has read and really enjoyed the book. You’ll find the books by their bookmark card sticking out of the book. The card will tell you who liked the book, and give a couple more suggestions if you liked the book in your hand. You can keep the bookmark to reference again!

You might discover that Sue really enjoys historical fiction, or that Lori enjoys thrillers. Whatever you enjoy, there is sure to be a staff member with similar tastes.

We also have an express shelf next to our new books. Here you can find the latest releases that are likely bestsellers. You can jump ahead and avoid a hold list if you can read the book in a week. Or something might spark your interest and you can put a hold on it for later.

Of course, you can always ask our helpful librarians, or look on NoveList Plus for read-alikes.

Stop in and ask the librarians about all of the options you have for finding that new great read, or to find something to snuggle down with during the long winter nights. We are sure to have something just for you!
