Dear Greene County Public Library friends and family,
It’s another year for Greene County Public Library, and we’re happy to continue serving our communities by offering free movies, music, books, and exciting programs.
As the world changes, so must public libraries. I’d like to highlight some of our biggest moments from 2019:
- The library was approved for a new bookmobile.
- 1000 Books Before Kindergarten was introduced.
- Spark Place expanded.
- The library began its automatic renewal system.
- More outdoor programs were created with the library’s new partnerships with local parks and recreation departments.
- Beavercreek Community Library celebrated its 60th anniversary.
- A new StoryWalk® was introduced to Yellow Springs.
In this new year, Greene County Public Library will strive to find new ways to bring fun, educational, helpful resources, and extraordinary events to our communities.
