Thank You for Furthering Dolly’s Mission, Greene County!

Raise a Glass to Reading 2026 was a hit thanks to you!

With one of our earliest ticket sell outs ever, Greene County came together at another amazing Raise a Glass to Reading and we couldn't be more grateful!

Dolly Parton meant so much to so many of us (you can read stories from our community at the Library's The Little Engine That Did, opens a new window tribute page) and her mission for early literacy remains strong in our community thanks to all of you. In Greene County we believe kids who read succeed, and we know Dolly did too!

From ticket sales, individual donations, auction items, and sponsorships, we raised over $40,000 locally at this year's event. That's enough to fund full Imagination Library enrollment for nearly 320 Greene County children - what an incredible investment!

We want to give a big thank you to our program sponsor United Way of the Greater Dayton Area, event sponsors Anderson Williamson Insurance, Collaborative Agile Solutions, Rick Posey, James Investment, Mills Consulting, Rotary Club of Xenia, River Valley Credit Union, Reichley Insurance Agency, Xenia Elks, Diane Phillips, Tim & Kim Sease, Rick & Becka Perales, Synergy Building Systems, CBD Advisors, and additional support fromFriends of the Xenia Library, Friends of the Beavercreek Library, Friends of the Fairborn Library, Stewart Title Company – Aspen Land Title Division, Montgomery Insurance & Investments Agency, Veterinary Associates Animal Hospital, Wichman and Newell Financial Advisors, and Abbie Keeton.

Thank you to Caesar Creek Vineyards for hosting & The Grazing Table Dayton for catering, and once again to all of you! View our event photo gallery below.
