A Heartfelt Farewell to Carol Graff

This past Friday we celebrated GCPL Board President Carol Graff on her many years of exemplary service and wished her well as she turns the page to a new chapter in her life!

Community members came out to share their memories, celebrate Carol, and send her off at her namesake library. While Carol will be missed very much, she will always be beloved in her community, particularly in Beavercreek, a city she has called home for many years.

We want to give a big thank you to Carol for not only her work in Beavercreek but for our library system. For over 50 years, her work on Beavercreek's City Council (including as Mayor), Beavercreek Township Trustees, Beavercreek Women’s League, Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission, and the Greene County Public Library Board of Trustees has created a lasting legacy. She was a key player in building, expanding, and renovating our Beavercreek library and in 2024 it was given her name: The Carol Graff Beavercreek Library!

We will miss you, Carol!

Best wishes, your GCPL Family
