School is back in session and when homework gets challenging our students at Xenia Community Library have a wonderful resource right in their community. Our Level Up Tutoring provides free homework help and tutoring for students, offers a welcoming place to ask questions, works through challenging assignments, and builds confidence while learning.
Our Xenia Community Library tutors bring a wonderful combination of education, experience, and a genuine love of helping students learn. Let's meet our tutors!
Meet Lincoln
Lincoln graduated with a degree in linguistics from Cedarville University, where he is now pursuing his master's degree. This is his second year as a tutor at Xenia Community Library and he has always loved tutoring and teaching. When he's not helping students Level Up, Lincoln enjoys reading and studying ancient languages. He and his wife are also getting ready for an exciting new adventure since they are expecting their first baby in late October!
Meet Ellen
Ellen has been teaching for four years and currently teaches second grade at Arrowood Elementary School. She enjoys music, spending time outside, and playing games with friends. One of Ellen's favorite picture books is Enemy Pie! She has loved being part of our Level Up Tutoring program and has seen its benefits firsthand, not only as a tutor, but also through her experience as a teacher.
Meet Arynne
Arynne is a second grade teacher for Xenia Community Schools and has been teaching for six years. She has also been a Level Up tutor for six years! Outside of the classroom Arynne enjoys reading, hiking, trying new coffee shops, and calligraphy. One of her favorite things to do is teach young learners the skills that they need to be successful. She especially loves seeing the magic of learning happen!
If schoolwork has you scratching your head, don't give up and instead Level Up with us!
