What we’ve got:
- Janome MB-4se Single Head Four needle professional-style embroidery machine.
- Embroidery Thread
- Embroidery Hoops
- M1 Hoop - 9.4 x 7.8” area (largest available)
- M2 Hoop - 4.9 x 4.3” area
- M3 Hoop - 1.9 x 1.9” area (smallest available)
- H1 - Hat Hoop
- Needles, stabilizer, an iron, test fabric, and cutting tools (free)
- We also provide embroidery conversion software (see below)

What you’ll need:
- Item you want to embroider
- Any specialty supplies you need for your project.
- Please note that any thread you bring in MUST be embroidery thread, not regular sewing thread.
- Your image and/or embroidery file.
- Discuss your item and project with staff when you make an appointment for the greatest success.
Related software:
- DRAWings PRO X is available in the makerspace to prepare image files for embroidery.
- Image files that work best in this software are .SVG and .PNG files. The program will convert your image files into .JEF, .DST, etc.

File format:
For embroidery machine – .JEF is best, but .DST will also work
