Greene County Public Library's Executive Director, Karl Colón was invited on America's Newsroom this morning to discuss the continuing impact of Dolly Parton and Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
Introduced through the Greene County Public Library Foundation and a number of community partners in 2013, the Imagination Library in Greene County has had over 14,000 children graduated, currently has over 6,000 children enrolled, and has delivered nearly three quarters of a million books. Through the efforts of Ohio's first lady, Fran DeWine the Imagination Library now exists in all 88 of Ohio's counties.
Her work continues and Your Library is proud to help with that locally!
