Local History and Genealogy

Learn about the people, places, and stories of our community with help from your Local History Librarians!

Located inside the Xenia Community Library, the Greene County Room houses the Local History & Genealogy department and our physical catalog. Much of our digital collection has been curated to enhance your access to Greene County’s history. Beyond their location in Xenia, our Local History Librarians are excited to offer engaging programming at your libraries and throughout the community by forming new partnerships.
