Serving You with Care and Purpose

Our impact across Greene County is profound

Greene County citizens borrow more than 2.5 million items annually, with digital material circulation almost quadrupling in the last 10 years.

Over 100,000 Greene County Residents use our services every year – public computers and internet to find jobs, use data, and do schoolwork. Homebound, elderly, and disabled residents depend on our book delivery service. Tens of thousands of children use our Library every year for reading programs and other educational opportunities.

GCPL has two main funding sources, the State of Ohio and the citizens of Greene County through the existing 2014 Levy. Due to cuts in the State Budget, GCPL will receive $300,000 less in 2026. Read more about our funding here.
