Interlibrary Loan
Want to borrow something that isn’t part of Greene County Public Library’s collection? We partner with other library systems across the state and around the world to make millions of additional items available to check out with your library card.
How It Works
Start by searching for the item you want in our catalog. Can’t find what you’re looking for?

FIRST ATTEMPT
First, check to see if the item is available in SearchOhio, opens a new window.

SECOND ATTEMPT
If needed, next see if the item is available in OhioLINK, opens a new window.

THIRD ATTEMPT
If neither of those searches are successful, try seeing if the item is available in WorldCat, opens a new window.
Once you locate the item you need, request it for delivery to your local library. Be sure to check out the policies for all three services.
If you’re trying to find a journal article that isn’t available locally, please fill out our article request form.
Requirements
To make an interlibrary loan request, you must have a valid Greene County Public Library card with less than $5 in fines.
You also need to read and understand the borrowing policies of the service providing the item. Each has its own lending periods, fines, and other rules.
