Welcome to Your Fearborn Library

It’s October and that means spooky season is officially here! It also means that your Fairborn Library transforms into your Fearborn Library! *cue spooky music and sound effects here* You will find new décor around the library and staff wearing fun t-shirts, sweaters, and the occasional costume throughout October.

You will also find the new, fictitious, Fearborn Historical Society Exhibit throughout the library. All month long, you can view the exhibit and help with an investigation relating to the photos around the library. Here is the bulletin with all of the information you need to get started:

In addition to all of the fun that we are having in the library, we will also be having fun out in the community! Here are some of the places you will find your librarians out in the wild this month:

    • Health & Wellness Expo @ Abiding Christ Lutheran Church (Saturday 10/4, 10:00-1:00)
    • Pumpkins & Popcorn Movie Night @ Community Park (Saturday 10/11, 5:00-7:00)
    • Troops & Treats @ The National Museum of the United States Air Force (Saturday 10/25, 10:00-3:00)
    • Fairborn YMCA’s Trunk-or-Treat (Sunday 10/26, 5:30-7:30)
    • Farmer’s Market (Wednesday 10/29, 4:00-7:00)

And, if you need even more Halloween fun at your library, don’t forget to register your team for our annual Terrifying Trivia event on Saturday, October 18!

See you in Fearborn!
