Included in your kit:
1 piece of scrapbook paper
1 plaque
1 clip
1 small tube of super glue
1 paintbrush
1 container of mod podge
Not included in your kit:
scissors
Instructions:
- Trace around the outside of the plaque onto your scrapbook paper (use a pencil). The paper is smaller than the plaque so you'll have to cut inside the tracing line so that it's smaller than the outside of the plaque. There will be a small border of the plaque showing around the outside of the scrapbook paper. It's a little tricky to get the scrapbook paper the right size, so use a pencil when tracing and don't cut too much off at once. It's easier to keep cutting it smaller than to cut it too small to start with.
- Paint a thin layer of mod podge on the plaque and position the scrapbook paper on the plaque and smooth down.
- Once dry, paint a layer of mod podge over the scrapbook paper to seal it down. Be sure to get the around the edges of the scrapbook paper.
- Once dry, glue the clip on the top of the plaque wherever you think looks best. Use the super glue in the small tube. You'll probably need to screw the lid on the super glue all the way down to puncture the seal so the super glue will come out. Allow to dry/set.
- Attach the stand to the back of the plaque. Determine where you want the stand to be on the back and then attach the plastic holder by removing the adhesive film and placing on the back of the plaque. Attach the black stand to the holder. See pic below.
