Welcome to back to the Yellow Springs Community Library Blog! Start off the holiday season and the new year by enjoying festive and fresh programs planned for December and January.
Children's Programs
- On Tuesday, December 9th from 2:45 - 3:45 pm, Rusty Ammerman will perform a fun and uplifting magic show.
- Lily Rainey will teach mindful yoga on Tuesday, December 9th and Tuesday, January 13th from 2:45 - 3:45 pm. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat, towel or blanket for the program.
- On Tuesday, December 16th from 2:45 - 3:45 pm, gather together to watch the Muppets Christmas Carol on the big screen. Bring your appetite to enjoy popcorn and holiday snacks!
Teen Programs
- Join other teens at your library for a Teen Advisory Group (TAG) meeting on December 17th and January 28th from 4:00 - 5:30 pm. Meet other teens who also care about the library and share your ideas about what happens here.
- On Thursday, December 11th from 4:30 - 6:00 pm learn how to make cards and small gifts for family friends during Teen Holiday Gift Making. Enjoy holiday music and free snacks!
- Two sessions of Dungeons & Dragons & Donuts will occur from 1:00 - 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 6th and January 17th for beginners and experienced players.
Adult Programs
- Kick off the holiday season by creating a gingerbread house at our Gingerbread Houses program on December 1st from 5:00 - 6:00 pm.
- Join certified Zentangle instructior, Dione Greenberg on December 9th from 12:30 - 2:00 pm during Zentangle Art as you learn to develop your creativity.
- Celebrate the snow and the winter season during the Winter Starry Night Painting Class on January 24th from 1:30 - 2:30 pm. Registration is required.
- Brush off the winter blues and join us for Wooden Sign Painting with Dawn on January 31st from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm. Registration is required.
