So Many Hobbies, So Little Time!

List created by Greene_TamarK

There are so many hobbies I want to try and not enough time for them all. But I'm lucky, because I order the adult books for the library, so I get to see all kinds of hobbies in print all the time. Perhaps you aren't as aware of all the various options or just haven't thought about it in a while. Studies show that hobbies are beneficial to our mental and/or physical health (National Geographic, WebMD, Harvard Health, National Library of Medicine, and many more), and we're getting that benefit just by having fun! I think that's pretty amazing. No matter your interest, no matter what you want to learn, there's a hobby that will suit you. In this list, I've included some hobbies that possibly aren't as well-known as others. And this is just a tiny sample of all of the great books about different hobbies that are in the library. If these books don't tickle your fancy, ask your local librarian (or me!) for some other suggestions. We LOVE to talks books and we LOVE to talk hobbies with our patrons.
