Wednesday, September 13 at 7:00 p.m. • All Ages • Bellbrook
Have you ever seen eagles, hawks, owls, egrets, herons, coyotes, deer, and other wildlife all in one room? Join us for a one-of-a-kind color slide presentation offered by local photographer and author Ray Mueller. Ray will share wildlife, landscape, and flower photos and tips on how to take a great photograph. He took all photographs in and around Dayton. This program is a partnership between Greene County Public Library and the Bellbrook Sugarcreek Park District and will be held at Park District headquarters at 2751 Washington Mill Rd.
Raymond J. Mueller developed a sincere appreciation for the beauty and significance of nature at an early age. He rekindled this passion shortly after settling in Dayton in 1991 and taking a photography class. He began with flower and landscape photography, but the transition to wildlife—particularly birds—was natural, since he had flown a variety of aircraft in the United States Air Force for more than 26 years. His work focuses on the premise that all art is self-portraiture, and he prefers to photograph down-to-earth, everyday subjects in an effort to bring viewers an awareness of the wonderment and surprises of nature.
