Join us for a party at your local library to celebrate the start of Summer Reading!


Tuesday, June 5 • 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. • Ages 2 to 12

Join us for a rockin’ summer reading kick off. Bring a white T-shirt, and we will help you create a fab shirt you can wear all summer as you read and rock with us! Event will be held at Peace Lutheran Church.
Registration required.


Friday, June 1 • 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. • All Ages

Join us to kick off our Summer Reading Program. We will have music, balloon creations, a button maker, and more!



Saturday, June 2 • 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. • All Ages

Libraries Rock! Cedarville’s Summer Reading Kickoff Party has become a community event. Pet exotic animals. Meet community helpers. Ride the barrel ride. Lots of surprises. Food will be provided by the Friends.


Saturday, June 2 • 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. • All Ages

Libraries rock! Join us at our kickoff party for the Summer Reading Program. There will be fun and games for all ages, including balloon creations, face painting, and caricatures!

We are celebrating the start of Summer Reading! Lots of fun for the whole family… face painting, games, community helpers, food and more. Rain or shine.

Drop in to kick off our “Libraries Rock” summer reading program! You can strike a pose at our photo booth, paint a rock, color a guitar, make a rock star stick puppet and more!

Tuesday, June 5 • 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. • Ages 10 to 18

Celebrate the start of Summer Reading with games and pizza! We’ll have a Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and other video and tabletop games.

Mark Wood will be here with his Disco Magic Show to help us kick off our Summer Reading program! Join us for music, magic, and lots of laughs.
