Armstrong Air & Space Museum Presents: Sounds of Science

Gain an understanding of the makeup of sounds on Earth and in space! Participants will have the opportunity to explore music through the use of Boomwhackers, which use different lengths of tubes to play different notes. Kids will form groups to explore, tinker, and create their own music to share. Bellbrook’s program at will be held at Bellbrook Presbyterian Church.

Try Out the Library’s Telescopes

Monday, July 16 at 8:30 p.m. • Teens and Adults • Yellow Springs

Molly Wakeling of the Miami Valley Astronomical Society will show you how to use the library’s new telescopes in this program. Meet at Ellis Park on Polecat Road.

Learning science really is fun! Join YouTube sensation and PBS celebrity Mister C as he presents an exciting, entertaining, and educational program about science. The Beavercreek show will be held at Peace Lutheran Church.

Join us to learn how to use Dash and Dot robots, Little Bits, and Snap Circuits. For ages 10–18. Program at will be held at Bellbrook Presbyterian Church.


Make Makey Piano

Tuesday, July 31 at 1:00 p.m. • Kids • Yellow Springs

Turn household objects into keys on a keyboard. Learn about how electricity works as you compose your own musical works. Begin a ballade using bananas! Create a concerto with cookies! Make a march with mandarin oranges! For ages 8–12.

Potions Party

Celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday with a Potions Party! We’ll complete numerous science experiments with amazing results. For ages 12–16.
