Greene County Public Library Remains Closed Ahead of a Phased Reopening

GREENE COUNTY, OH: Due to Gov. DeWine’s extension of Ohio’s K–12 schools closure and Stay at Home Order, all Greene County Public Library locations will remain closed as the library plans a phased reopening of its community locations in May. Specific timing is subject to the availability of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for library staff and guidelines for patrons.

In accordance with the governor’s March 23 Stay at Home Order, the library has asked our patrons to keep any library materials they have in their possession until the seven-location library system reopens. All items will remain fine-free and due dates for all checked-out materials will be extended through the reopening date. To encourage the practice of social distancing and remain in compliance with the governor’s orders, book drops will remain closed at all library locations.
