Sewing 101: Mending

Come learn the hand-stitching you’ll need to mend your clothing, repair missing buttons, and sew those popped seams with Jesy Anderson of Needle, Ink and Thread. Being able to perform basic mending will save you time and money! We will even have some sewing machines available for you to try out, and if there is the time we will cover basic hemming as well.

Thieves Oil Soap

Thieves oil dates back to the bubonic plague. We use this 5 essential oil blend to make a soap that may help cleanse, calm, and soothe you—body and soul. Please wear old clothes with regular shoes (no flip flops). Bring an old towel and a dishpan to take your soap home with you.
