Construct the perfect summer of reading and activities!

To participate:

  • Sign up at your local library and pick up your activity log.
  • Read for 8 hours and receive a prize.
  • When you have read for a total of 18 hours, bring your activity log to the library for a free book, and to enter the grand prize drawing for a chance to win a visit from the Bookmobile.
  • Everything must be turned in by August 1.

The library also has cool programs and activities for kids all summer. Visit as often as you can to join the fun!

    Is there an age or reading level suggested for this program?

      In general, the Kids’ Summer Reading Program is for ages 5-12. We’ve got Summer Reading Programs for all ages from babies to adults, so check with the librarians at your local community location to sign up for the appropriate one.
