Spring is almost here! These upcoming library programs will help you get relaxed and ready to enjoy the outdoors.

Create Your Own Nature Journal

Writing and drawing from nature can be a rewarding experience. Creating the book that is used for this adds to the activity. The first session will start with making a traditional Japanese style (fan-fold) book. The second session will explore observing the natural world around us and writing and drawing from those experiences. All materials will be provided.

Massage and the Effects on the Body

Thursday, March 22 at 6:00 p.m. • Adults • Bellbrook

Knot Your Average Massage (located in Bellbrook) will be providing an educational class on the benefits of massage, and the overall well-being it provides for your body. Learn the difference between a relaxation and therapeutic massage, along with a few self-help techniques.

Walking and Talking

Wednesdays starting March 28 at 10:30 a.m. • Adults • Jamestown

Join us at for a morning walk on the bike path. We will walk approximately 2.5 miles. Enjoy some exercise and good conversation. The walking group will meet on the sidewalk outside the library.

Stress Relief

Thursday, March 29 at 5:00 p.m. • Teens • Yellow Springs

Join us for some DIY stress relief crafts, coloring and snacks! We have the perfect recipe to relieve that “end of the semester is coming” stress with calming bottles and stress balls!

DIY Foot Soaks

Saturday, March 31 at 2:00 p.m. • Adults • Cedarville

Come to the library to create a decadent foot soak that will allow you to recreate the spa experience at home!
