Kids' yoga class

Have fun and get moving at these upcoming library programs!


Walking and Talking

Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. • Adults • Jamestown

Join us at for a morning walk on the bike path. We will walk approximately 2.5 miles. Enjoy some exercise and good conversation. Walking group will meet on the sidewalk outside the library.


Laughter Yoga in the Park

Saturday, July 14 at 10:00 a.m. • Adults • Beavercreek

Do you laugh every day? Discover the difference between conditional laughter and unconditional laughter. Know you can start laughing for health and fun! Join Teresa Speakman for Laughter Yoga. Registration required. This program is provided thanks to a partnership between the Beavercreek Community Library and City of Beavercreek Parks, Recreation & Culture. Meet at Wartinger Park Barn.

Midwest Martial Arts Presentation

Wednesday, July 18 at 3:30 p.m. • Kids • Fairborn

Instructors at Fairborn’s TNT Midwest Martial Arts Studio teach not just martial arts, but values like honor, integrity, and respect that make their students well-rounded people. Current students and instructors will demonstrate some mixed martial arts and give attendees the chance to try them too. The 3:30 session is for grades K–5; the 6:30 session is for grades 6–12.

Yoga for Kids

Monday, July 23 at 4:00 p.m. • Kids • Fairborn

Kids will have fun while learning the basics of yoga. Bring a yoga mat if you have one and wear comfortable clothes. For grades 1–5.

Introduction to Yoga

Wednesday, July 25 at 6:30 p.m. • Teens and Adults • Yellow Springs

Local yoga instructor Kara Pennella will introduce yoga poses suitable for beginners. Please bring a beach towel or yoga mat if you have one.

Thursday, July 26 at 6:00 p.m. • Teens • Fairborn

Sonja, our amazing yoga instructor from Kai Yoga, is back! All skill levels are welcome to come and experience how yoga can help energize you and make you feel great! For grades 6–12.
