---

The Greene County Room opened in a corner of the Xenia Carnegie Library basement in 1971. Now housed on the second floor of Xenia Community Library, it has grown into one of the largest collections of local history and genealogy information in southwest Ohio.

In addition to a collection of books on Ohio history, the Greene County Room contains archives of family histories, local newspapers, county records, and obituaries. The Greene County Room also provides many online resources you can use for genealogy and history research.
